Meet The Team!

Hi! I'm Steph (Mom), and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I grew up on a tobacco and horse farm, spending my days surrounded by animals of all kinds. From cats and dogs to horses, chickens, and even peacocks, caring for animals wasn't just something we did—it was a way of life.
I've always adored cats and have never been without one.
Today, our family has two very special cats. Sage is the most majestic, fluffy cat you've ever seen. Truthfully, he belongs to no one—he's incredibly independent and likes to remind us that he's in charge! Then there's Bear, Noah's sweet tabby cat, who is as affectionate and lovable as they come.
Together, Noah and I care for our cats and share the responsibilities of feeding, fresh water, litter duty, and daily cuddles, depending on our schedules.
We also share a common passion of all things baseball and Blue Jays!
Our animal family doesn't stop there. We also have Karma, our lovable Bernese Mountain Dog, Spirit, our horse, and Sadie (better known as "Sheepie"), our sheep. To say we love animals would be an understatement.
So why did we start Country Cat Care?
Like many young adults, Noah has been applying for part-time jobs for months. Despite having experience in sports, customer service, coaching, leadership, and camp counseling, finding work hasn't been easy.
Instead of getting discouraged, we decided to create an opportunity together!
Since Noah is heading to Sheridan College this fall to study Business and Marketing—and will also be playing baseball for Sheridan—we thought, why not combine our love of animals with a chance to build something meaningful?
Country Cat Care was born from that idea: turning a challenge into something positive.
Noah is 18 years old, a dedicated baseball player, a future Sheridan student-athlete, and a lifelong animal lover. Together, we're committed to providing reliable, compassionate care for your cats while you're away, treating them like members of our own family.
When you choose Country Cat Care, you're not hiring a large company. You're supporting a local mom-and-son team that genuinely loves animals and understands how important your pets are to you.
While we are both capable and experienced, Noah will be doing most of the cat-care. I'm here to help, support, and do the marketing!
We look forward to meeting you—and your cats!
